Our Technology

The foundation for the next generation of nuclear energy.

The world needs abundant, reliable, carbon-free power that can be deployed faster, more safely, and more affordably than ever before. MiraiGaia is developing advanced atomic batteries that combine proven light-water reactor physics with modern engineering, passive safety, and scalable manufacturing. Our first product, the NMR-50, is a naturally circulating small modular reactor designed to deliver resilient, 24/7 clean energy for utilities, industrial facilities, data centers, defense installations, and remote communities. The NMR-50 builds upon decades of advanced light-water reactor research at Purdue University, including thermal-hydraulic analysis and integral system testing performed using PUMA (Purdue University Multi-Dimensional Integral Test Assembly), a facility originally developed for the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission to support the evaluation of advanced passive boiling water reactor designs. Rather than reinventing nuclear physics, we are reimagining how reactors are designed, built, deployed, and operated for the twenty-first century.
